Santina Kennedy is an independent Food Consultant working with Irish food and drinks businesses. She is passionate about showcasing the best of Irish produce through experiences and cultural events. Santina is committed to the promotion and development of Ireland as a food tourism destination. Before launching her consultancy,  Santina spent 5 years working in an advocacy role at The Powerscourt Distillery. In addition to developing their award-winning Food and Whiskey Pairing Tour, she has carefully curated a retail and on-trade menu of Irish artisan food to pair with Irish Whiskey. She also curates bar, restaurant and retail offerings to include Irish drinks including Irish-made gin, mead, wine, perry, bitters and beers and non-alcoholic options.

She is a regular contributor to media,  and she has been featured on RTÉ, BBC World Travel, PBS and ITV. Her work has also been featured in Forbes MagazineThe Irish TimesThe Irish IndependentFood and Wine Magazine and the Irish Farmers Journal. She loves to chat and in addition to presenting food and drink events, she also contributes regularly on The 1105 Panel on East Coast Radio. She is an ambassador for Wicklow Naturally, Wicklow’s Food and Drink Network. Santina is the Food and Drink Researcher on the PBS Ireland with Michael Show.

Santina holds an MA in Gastronomy and Food Studies from TU Dublin.
