Strengthening women’s voices within the drinks industry
Wine Spirit Women is a grassroots organisation, founded by Lynne Coyle, Master of Wine, Wine Director at O’Briens Wine & Winemaker, and Justine McGovern, joint trade director of the California Wine Institute UK and Ireland & partner at Jackman McGovern. Wine Spirit Women aims to empower and educate women in the drinks industry.
Through mentorship and collaboration, we strive to strengthen women’s voices and make the drinks industry an inclusive space for all.
We are passionate about arming our members with education and to date we have awarded WSET scholarships through Vinspire Academy, Spanish Wine Specialist Diploma’s through ICEX, research trips to Spain thanks to DO Rueda and have many more exciting bursaries on the horizon.
