Diploma in Food & Wine Synergy

A brand-new food and wine course is now available in Ireland.  The curriculum was developed by wine and food educator Trish Rogers who devised it while living in the United States.

In association with FF&W Co. Atlanta US, the ‘Diploma in Food & Wine Synergy’ course will be offered in Ireland only twice this year.

This Diploma course will take place in Ireland in 2024 and will be held over four weeks including an examination.

The program explores food and wine interactivity, the human taste network, instinctive response systems to taste, and other sensory elements. It will present an understanding of these processes and their place in the food and wine experience.

Material from this program has been presented at third-level institutions across the United States and at industry Educational events in both the US and the United Kingdom. Academic settings include Linfield University OR, Johnson & Wales University NC, Miami Institute of Wine & Food FL, Culinary Institute of America Napa CA, American Institute of Wine & Food Washington DC and Hampshire Wine School UK amongst others.


The INTERNATIONAL CULINARY PROGRAM at AIA Atlanta secured CEH ACCREDITATION
from the AMERICAN CULINARY FEDERATION for Level 201 ZiNG! Workshop. The course will be presented in Ireland by author and researcher Patricia Rogers. Ms. Rogers is a director with FF&W Co. and serves as education coordinator and secretary with IGS.

The second presentation will take place on August 26th, September 2nd, 9th, and 16th. The course will run from 7.00 – 8.30 pm approx in Drogheda. Places are extremely limited.
