The K Club Host Laurent Perrier Champagne Dinner

Two iconic houses of great taste will create the perfect blend this March, when The K Club hosts a very special Laurent Perrier Champagne Dinner. Back by popular demand following last year’s sell-out evening, the event on Friday 15th March, will pair a sumptuous five-course menu with some of the historic Champagne house’s finest vintages. 

Perfect pairings will include Fresh Irish Brown Crab with risotto of Acquerello rice, lobster bisque and Parmesan foam alongside Laurent Perrier Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature NV; Fillet of Atlantic lemon sole with cucumber spaghetti, Champagne sauce, “Calvisius Royal Caviar, chive, sour cream” complemented by Laurent Perrier Vintage 2012; and Irish Guinea Fowl, with parsnip puree, kumquats, Peking glaze & Grand Marnier sauce taken to the next level with the renowned, and very special, Laurent Perrier Grand Siècle.

The effervescent evening in the five-star Kildare country resort will begin at 6.30pm with an elegant drinks reception in The Garden Room before seamlessly transitioning to the sophisticated surrounds of The Barton for dinner. 

Multi award-winning Chief Sommelier of The K Club, Lisa O’Doherty, will take guests through each of the five pairings. Among her many accolades, Lisa won The Golden Magnum at the prestigious Champagne Academy in Rheims, France in 2017 – only the second Irish person to do so in 62 years – so it’s safe to say she knows her bubbles. 

The very limited number of tickets for The K Club’s Champagne Dinner are now available for €175 per person.
