Well ladies, it’s July!
Following on from a trip to Catalonia with Boutique Wines (see our Instagram) to visit Perelada and Casa Gran del Siurana. It was a pleasure to meet Anna Gallisà, winemaker and oenologist at Casa Gran del Siurana who is an inspiration and force to be reckoned with (We ❤️ female winemakers). You can follow Anna here.

We also were invited to a special tasting for Wine Spirit Women by Wines Direct. Sending a big thank you again to them for inviting us to their HQ to taste some of their new wines. Our committee member Trish Nunan wrote some words on the tasting, which you can read here.
Wines Direct are a family-run business who are pushing its sustainability efforts higher and higher each year. They’ve reduced electricity usage in the warehouse, are plastic free in their delivery and have their own wildflower garden on-site. The team kindly gave us our own wildflower seeds to take home, and I hope that when they come to bloom, our bunches will look as impressive as Wines Direct!

Monthly Q&A with…
This month we chatted to Maggie Wine Adventure, co-founder of Polish Wine Fest, team member at Searsons Wine and all-around wine queen. You can read Maggie’s full Q&A. here and follow her on her vino adventures.
